These days you can't find old corn cribs, barns, tobacco barns, and cabins that are still in good shape very often. On one trip to Smith Mountain Lake we stopped by the Booker T. Washington homeplace, and it was really neat to be able to show my kids things that were still pretty common when I was a kid but that aren't common now that they are kids.
